I thought long and hard about what to get, that they could take with them and use whilst they were away and came up with the idea of a plane kit! A small bag containing bits and pieces to make that long haul flight seem a little more bearable!
Whenever I fly abroad, I always find my skin get so dry from the air conditioning being turned up full blast. In order to try and combat this, my skin creates more oil and I often get breakouts (if it's a long haul flight)! The best way to deal with this is to use a moisturiser throughout the flight and make sure that your skin is fully hydrated. Kiehl's 'Creme de Corps' was the first little treat that I selected and is the perfect little moisturiser to take with you on the plane. This is what I would call a no-fuss moisturiser. It's super hydrating and is not too heavily scented; perfect for applying after the first couple of hours to freshen up. I made sure to buy the little travel size bottles that would make it through security!
I also wrote little notes that I wrapped with each item, adding a personal touch to the gift!
When travelling, I feel its important to always carry hand sanitiser with me, especially since getting up to wash your hands before every meal on a plane is not the most convenient! This Soap and Glory hand sanitiser is the answer to all your problems. It's small, looks cute and smells great. What more could you need?
This Ted Baker mini body spray is perfect for when you just need a little freshen up. It's not entirely necessary, but is a nice little add on and is perfect for when you want a quick spritz to freshen up but don't want to waste expensive perfume!
Of course no plane kit would be complete without a little Burt's Bees! Like my skin, the aeroplane air con also attacks my lips and th is is where Burt's Bee's comes in! It's moisturising, smells lovely and sinks in to the lips without leaving a horrible residue, like you get with some other lip balms. Perfect.
And lastly, I bought a few little sweet treats for my friends to have as movie snacks! Both friends are going to countries that don't have Cadury's, so I had to throw some buttons in there!!
These are all the products in a nice little zippy bag that I bought in Malaysia last year! Before gifting, I will wrap these all nicely with their little notes and put everything in one big gift bag! If you're wondering what those two little things on the right hand side are, they are just a couple of small little samples that I was given with the Kiehl's moisturiser that I bought. A nice little added extra and something she can use later on if not on the plane!!
