The Boots

I'm in love! I'm in love and I don't care who knows it! How hot are these bad boys?! Hot. 

When it comes to shoes, I'm very particular about what I like and I'd been looking for a pair of boots, of the 'chunky' variety for quite some time. I'd looked at the boots in Topshop, Zara, and New Look, but none of them had that 'je ne sais quoi' that I was looking for. 

And then I found these.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to introduce you to the 'Grace' heeled Chelsea boots by Vagabond. 

Let me set the scene. I've had a hard day at the office and I've just left.... the rain is hammering down and with no umbrella, I scurry in the rain for as long as I can manage until I am forced to take shelter in one of the nearby shops. That shop happens to be Office.

I hadn't planned on spending money. If anything I need to save money... but one does not simply walk into Office and not look around. So, I let my eyes and feet guide me at their will. It's quite a large shop, so it takes some time, but then I see them. Like a beacon of light shining from the corner of the shop, the Vagabond boots call to me. 

At first I'm confused! "There are so many pairs of perfect boots, I have to try them all!" I think to my self. And I do try them all. Those poor shop assistants... they'd done a full body work by the time I was finished. 

'Grace' was the last pair I tried on. And that was it; a match made in heaven! They're just perfect and I love everything about them! 

They're made from a beautiful leather with a nubuck finish which gives them the perfect 'edgy' almost distressed look, but without looking slouchy. They're so sturdy and well made and have the logo embossed on the uppers (above) which I absolutely love. 

They are also SUPER comfortable. I feel like I could run a marathon in them! 

Although they were a little pricey, for the quality and the amount that I will wear them (and have done already) it is worth every penny! 

I'll do my best to do a post where I style them in different ways! You'll have to bare with me though.... those fashion bloggers make outfit posts look a lot easier than they are!
